The Kharadi community of wood-turners makes delicate spindles in Shisham wood as a reminder of the architecture and furniture of the Raj. The off-cuts for furniture have been repurposed into elegant ornaments, snowflakes in wood, and impressions of the stars and the precious beauty of wood.
