The Monkey & the Crocodile: The Crocodile’s wife wants to eat the clever Monkey’s heart. The Crocodile befriends the Monkey to ‘steal’ his heart. The Monkey outwits the Crocodile by telling him he keeps his heart stored in a tree.

The Crocodile and Monkey go to the forest; the Monkey climbs the tree and saves his own life. KeKiKa Panchatantra: Hand-crocheted Monkey and Crocodile puppets, made by the Jaipur-based women’s empowerment group Kalaaai, with three accompanying cards illustrating the fable are a perfect introduction for children to puppetry and play.
