KeKiKa Panchatantra: Hand-crocheted Lion and Mouse puppets, made by the Jaipur-based women’s empowerment group Kalaaai, with three accompanying cards illustrating the fable are a perfect introduction for children to puppetry and play. The Lion and the Mouse The timid Mouse fears the Lion will trap and eat him. A Hunter comes along and traps the Lion in a mesh.

Bravely the Mouse saves the Lion by biting through the mesh, freeing his enemy. Moved by the Mouse’s kind act, the Lion apologizes and they became friends.
